Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) – Nights

£43,900 per year | 42 Hours per Week | Night Shifts

This beautiful and vibrant nursing home has been thoughtfully designed to support older adults with a range of nursing, dementia and residential care needs. Set within acres of grounds with stunning views, the home combines impressive surroundings with a warm and welcoming environment where residents’ comfort, dignity and individual needs remain at the centre of their care.

We’re looking for an experienced RGN or RMN who has completed their preceptorship and gained post-registration nursing experience. You’ll provide confident clinical care throughout the night, ensuring residents receive safe, responsive and person-centred support at all times.

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Nurse qualification as an RGN or RMN


• Active NMC registration – essential


• Completed preceptorship – essential


• Previous post-registration nursing experience


• Experience supporting older adults would be beneficial


• Confidence caring for residents with nursing and dementia care needs


• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills


• Experience with medication administration, care planning and risk assessments


• Ability to recognise and respond appropriately to changes in residents’ health


• Strong understanding of safeguarding, infection control and clinical governance


• Confidence working as part of the night team and providing clinical guidance when required

Your Role on Nights

• Deliver safe and effective nursing care throughout the night


• Assess and monitor residents with a variety of nursing needs


• Recognise and respond confidently to changes in residents’ health and wellbeing


• Administer medications safely and maintain accurate clinical records


• Review and contribute to care plans and risk assessments


• Support residents living with dementia with patience, dignity and understanding


• Provide clinical guidance to care colleagues throughout the shift


• Respond appropriately to emergencies and escalate concerns when required


• Liaise with healthcare professionals and families where appropriate


• Ensure residents remain comfortable, safe and well supported overnight


• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, infection control and clinical governance
