Registered Nurse (RGN) – Nursing Home

£20 - £22 per hour | Day Shifts, 36-42 Hours per Week | Permanent

We're looking for an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join a welcoming nursing home providing residential, nursing and dementia care for older adults.

The home has been thoughtfully designed around the people who live there. Bedrooms are bright, well-equipped and individual, creating calm and comfortable spaces where residents can settle in and make their surroundings feel like their own.

You'll become part of a supportive team delivering hands-on nursing care, monitoring residents' changing needs and ensuring every person receives safe, responsive and genuinely individualised support.

What We're Looking For

• Active NMC registration as an RGN.


• Previous nursing home experience is essential.


• Strong clinical skills and confidence managing a range of nursing needs.


• Experience caring for older adults, including those living with dementia.


• Confidence with medication administration and management.


• Experience completing clinical assessments, risk assessments and care plans.


• Ability to recognise deterioration and respond appropriately to changes in residents' health.


• Good understanding of safeguarding, infection prevention and clinical governance.

Your Role

• Deliver safe and high-quality nursing care tailored to each resident's individual needs.


• Administer medication safely and maintain accurate clinical documentation.


• Complete and regularly review care plans and clinical assessments.


• Monitor residents' physical and emotional wellbeing throughout your shifts.


• Recognise changes in residents' conditions and take appropriate clinical action.


• Support individuals living with dementia using a respectful and person-centred approach.


• Provide clinical guidance and support to members of the care team.


• Work collaboratively with GPs, families and other healthcare professionals.


• Promote residents' dignity, independence, comfort and individual choices.


• Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, infection control and professional nursing practice.
