Room Leader (Level 3+) – Toddler Room - Up to £35,000

This nursery has been carefully designed to give children space to play, explore, and grow at their own pace. The pre-school room is busy and well resourced, with daily access to a large outdoor learning garden and routines that supports school readiness. The Room Leader plays a key role in shaping the day, guiding practice in the room, and providing consistency for both children and staff.

Before You Apply

• This role requires Level 3 childcare qualification or above.


• Recent experience working within a pre-school room is essential.


• Applicants must be confident leading a room and supporting other practitioners.

Key Job Details

• Salary: £29,000–£35,000 per year


• Hours: 40 hours per week

What You’ll Need

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)


• Recent experience in a pre-school or nursery setting


• Confidence leading a room and supporting staff


• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework

• Additional training in safeguarding or child development

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support learning and development


• Create a calm, engaging environment where children can thrive


• Support and guide practitioners within the room
