The Sales Manager / Technical Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth across the UK and international markets, managing relationships with end users, distributors, OEMs and key partners across a wide range of industrial sectors.

The successful Filtration Sales Manager / Technical Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience selling filtration systems, industrial equipment, fluid power products, CNC machinery, pumps, lubricants, machine tool ancillaries, OEM equipment or related engineering solutions, with the ability to develop technical sales opportunities and manage strategic customer relationships.

Sales Manager / Technical Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Role

• Drive sales growth and profitability across an industrial filtration product portfolio within UK and international markets.


• Manage and develop relationships with end users, distributors, representatives, OEMs and strategic partners.


• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue, market share and customer engagement.


• Identify and develop new business opportunities across industries including automotive, precision engineering, steel manufacturing, bearings and industrial manufacturing.


• Grow existing customer accounts while developing new prospects through targeted business development activity.


• Identify, recruit and support distribution partners across international territories.


• Manage key projects and opportunities, working closely with internal engineering, technical and commercial teams to deliver customer solutions.


• Provide technical sales support, product guidance and application advice to customers and partners.


• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements to identify new opportunities.


• Manage sales forecasting, CRM activity, pipeline development and reporting against revenue and profitability targets.


• Support the development and performance of a small sales team.

Sales Manager / Technical Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Engineer, Product Manager or similar.


• Experience selling industrial products, engineered solutions or technical equipment into manufacturing environments.


• Background within filtration, fluid handling, pumps, CNC machinery, machine tools, lubricants, lubrication systems, OEM equipment or related industrial sectors.


• Experience managing customer accounts, distributors, OEM relationships and sales territories.


• Strong commercial understanding with experience managing sales targets, budgets and growth strategies.


• Technically minded with the ability to understand customer applications and provide effective solutions.


• Comfortable selling to engineers, maintenance teams, procurement departments and senior stakeholders.


• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.


• Ability to manage multiple projects, opportunities and customer requirements.


• Willingness to travel internationally when required.


• Full UK driving licence and valid passport.
