New Job Opening: Senior Production Planner in Aberdeenshire

Job Description

Senior Production Planner
Aberdeenshire

If you enjoy getting to grips with how a factory works, solving planning challenges and seeing your ideas make a difference, this could be an opportunity to put your experience to good use with an established food manufacturer.

The business is investing in its people and preparing for further growth. You would play an important part in that next stage, bringing your planning experience to make processes more efficient and improve communication between colleagues.

Your starting point would be to learn the operation, understand its processes and build relationships with the people around you. From there, you would have the opportunity to identify improvements and put your ideas into practice.

There is an established planning system in place, with scope for you to improve how it is used. You would bring your troubleshooting skills to understand where issues arise, improve the consistency of information going into the system and help colleagues work more effectively together. If you enjoy joining the dots between people, information and production, there are meaningful improvements for you to make.

You would bring production planning experience, but your approach will matter just as much. You will be someone who listens, asks questions and takes colleagues with you when making changes. There are no direct reports, so this would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of planning and influencing how things work through strong working relationships.
