New Job Opening: Service Coordinator in Scarborough-billing

Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Service Coordinator to join a warm, friendly and busy team based in Scarborough.

This is a varied coordination role where you’ll be responsible for keeping things running smoothly, communicating with customers and engineers, and making sure everything from access and parts through to completion and invoicing is organised efficiently.

You don’t necessarily need previous experience within a service department. We’re looking for someone with strong administration, coordination and customer service skills who is organised, confident juggling multiple priorities and enjoys being part of a busy team.

What you’ll be doing

• Coordinating all aspects of service contracts, including planned maintenance, call-outs, repairs and remedial works


• Acting as the main point of contact for customers, keeping them updated by phone and email


• Scheduling work and ensuring engineer access, parts and equipment are arranged


• Managing jobs from initial request through to completion and invoicing


• Keeping accurate records and ensuring jobs progress as efficiently as possible


• Liaising with internal departments to make sure customer requirements are met


• Working closely with the Operations Manager to identify and deliver contract efficiencies


• Handling queries with a customer-first approach and seeing situations from the customer’s point of view

We’d love to speak to you if you have

• Previous experience within an administration, customer service, coordination or planning role


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage several tasks at once


• Confidence communicating with customers both over the phone and by email


• A proactive approach and the ability to get on with your workload independently


• Good attention to detail and the resilience to work effectively within a busy environment


• A friendly, positive personality and enjoy working as part of a team

This will be working Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 4:50pm, and Friday: 8:30am - 3:10pm, earning a Salary between £26,500 - £28,000 depending on experience.
