Trainee Recruitment Consultant – Sales Role

£27,000 + Uncapped Commission

Reading, Berkshire | Office-Based | Full Time

At Willing Recruitment, we’re looking for a confident, ambitious Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our fast-paced, sales-driven team. You’ll make outbound calls, build candidate relationships and match people with opportunities across Healthcare and Early Years, while working towards clear performance targets and maximising your earning potential through uncapped commission.

We’re ideally looking for someone with previous experience in sales, recruitment or a phone-driven role. You don’t need to have worked in recruitment before, but you should be confident making outbound calls, driven to achieve targets and motivated by the opportunity to earn commission based on your results.

What Does the Role Look Like?

• Make outbound calls to candidates from job boards, applications and enquiries

• Speak with candidates about their experience, goals and suitable vacancies


• Conduct screening calls and qualify candidates


• Build relationships and keep candidates engaged throughout the recruitment process


• Work quickly to move suitable candidates through the pipeline


• Maintain accurate candidate records and documentation


• Prepare candidate profiles and work closely with the wider recruitment team


• Manage your calls, callbacks and daily pipeline


• Work towards clear call, activity and performance targets


• Focus on achieving the results that ultimately lead to placements and commission
