Website Content Editor (Temporary Assignment)

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Website Content Editor to support a fast-paced team on a short-term basis. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with exceptional written communication skills who excels at reviewing and updating digital material with high precision.

Overview

In this role, the successfully appointed candidate will assist in evaluating and updating online media to ensure every page remains clear, accurate, and aligned with company standards. Working through a substantial volume of copy, you will make straightforward adjustments according to established instructions while maintaining accurate standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and update website pages in line with set guidelines


• Make amendments to existing website copy where required


• Ensure sentences and paragraphs remain clear and grammatically correct


• Work systematically through a large volume of pages


• Check completed work for accuracy and consistency


• Follow established processes and instructions


• Flag any unclear areas or changes requiring further guidance


• Use good judgement to ensure updated content reads naturally

Qualifications

  • Strong written English and understanding of grammar
  
  
  • Comfortable making minor amendments to written content
  
  
  • Able to work independently and follow clear guidelines
  
  
  • Organised and methodical approach to high-volume tasks
  
  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  
  
  • Previous experience with website content, administration or digital work is beneficial but not essential
  
  
  • Experience using a Content Management System (CMS) would be desirable
  
  
  • MUST have own transport due to location.
