Are you a motivated graduate looking to gain valuable school-based experience as a Secondary LSA? A well-regarded and inclusive secondary school in Hackney is seeking a dedicated Secondary LSA to join their team on an ASAP start.

Secondary LSA – What the School Offers

• £444–£513 weekly via PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay


• ASAP start with a full-time, long-term contract through to July 2027


• 33.5 working hours per week, including a half-day on Fridays

Secondary LSA – What the Role Involves

• Supporting teachers across KS3 and KS4 in mainstream classrooms


• Providing 1:1 and small-group academic interventions


• Supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs where required


• Helping students develop confidence, independence and engagement


• Working with teachers to monitor pupil progress and overcome barriers to learning

Secondary LSA – What the School is Looking For

The ideal candidate will hold a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a leading UK university and have previous child-centred experience through tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth work or similar settings. Excellent communication skills, patience and a genuine commitment to supporting young people are essential.
