Are you a Physics graduate ready to train as a teacher? A high-performing secondary school with a successful Sixth Form in Barking & Dagenham is seeking an Unqualified Physics Teacher to join them on a permanent basis from September 2026.

This Unqualified Physics Teacher opportunity offers a salaried teacher training programme, paid on the Unqualified Teacher Pay Scale, providing an excellent pathway to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Unqualified Physics Teacher - Person Specification:

• Minimum 2:1 degree in Physics or a closely related subject from a UK university


• Strong academic record at GCSE and A-Level


• Passion for Physics and a desire to pursue a career in teaching


• Excellent communication and organisational skills


• Ability and ambition to teach Physics to A-Level


• Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
