About the role:

A multidisciplinary rehabilitation provider is seeking a compassionate and motivated Neuro/Concussion Physiotherapist to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative environment focused on high-quality patient outcomes across both in-clinic and community-based settings.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the assessment and treatment of individuals recovering from concussion and neurological conditions. While prior experience in neurorehabilitation is desirable, clinicians from all backgrounds are welcome to apply.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver tailored treatment programmes for individuals with concussion or neurological presentations
• Work closely with Consultants, GPs, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
• Educate patients and families on recovery strategies, home exercises, and long-term self-management
• Participate in clinical reviews and service improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and contribute to ongoing care planning

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
• Current registration and Annual Practising Certificate (APC) with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand
• Full driver’s licence
• Ideally some experience in neurorehabilitation or concussion care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centred, evidence-based care
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
