This is a role that many surveyors regard as a genuine career milestone — the chance to join a practice with a market leading reputation, an exceptional client base and a breadth of work that is difficult to match elsewhere in the market. You will be joining a highly regarded Building Consultancy team delivering instructions across a diverse commercial portfolio including Commercial Offices, High End Residential, Warehouses and Retail assets. The Role You will step into a team with a live workload, meaning you will be trusted to contribute from day one. The work offers an excellent balance between project and professional instructions, allowing you to naturally gravitate towards the area you most enjoy and potentially specialise in longer term. Typical instructions include: - Technical Due Diligence - Dilapidations (Landlord & Tenant) - Contract Administration & Project Delivery - Planned Preventative Maintenance - Defect Analysis - Party Wall & Neighbourly Matters - Refurbishment and fit-out projects This variety provides the perfect platform for a surveyor early in their post chartership career to build genuine breadth of expertise before choosing a preferred direction. The Environment Based in the West End, the team operates a flexible hybrid model with a typical week of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Despite being part of a global organisation, the culture is notably supportive, collaborative and personable. From the outset you will be given responsibility, client exposure and the opportunity to develop your own professional identity within the business. About You - MRICS qualified with no more than 18 months PQE - Background within a commercial real estate / building consultancy environment - Commercially aware and confident in front of clients - Ambitious and motivated to progress within a global practice - Ready to step into an active workload and “hit the ground running” - Keen to learn, develop and take on increasing responsibility - You will be someone who wants to be part of a respected name in the industry and sees this as a long-term career move rather than just another role.
