Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a Newly Qualified Accountant role based in Edinburgh city centre (hybrid working) paying up to £50,000 plus a strong benefits package.

This is finance department that is rich with senior finance professionals of an exceptional quality providing excellent guidance and mentorship to aspiring finance professionals.

The Role

A huge attraction component of this role is it’s variety, as it’s deeply immersed in management and financial accounting with fantastic senior stakeholder management which requires an individual capable of business partnering with non-financial stakeholders. The key components of the role will include:

• Business partnering with senior & non-financial stakeholders
• Production and presenting of monthly management accounts & reporting packs
• Assisting with statutory accounts and returns
• Annual audit preparation including liaising with External Auditors
• Financial analysis - P&L, costs, variances
• Cash management, treasury and cashflow forecasting & analysis
• Assisting with taxation & VAT returns
• Reviewing and developing with processes, procedures, controls & systems
