Night Packing Operative

Pay: £13.36-£20.04 per hour

Job Description:

Synergise Recruitment are recruiting Night Packing Operatives to join a successful and growing food manufacturing business based in Willand, Devon on a temp-to-perm basis.

* £13.36 per hour up to 37.5 hours

* Overtime paid at £20.04 per hour for hours worked above 37.5

* £5 daily bonus

* 01.30am until 09.30am - Tuesday to Saturday

* Full training provided

The Role

Working as part of a busy packing team, you'll be responsible for ensuring finished food products are packed, checked and prepared to the required standards.

You'll work within a fast-paced production environment where quality, accuracy, food safety and teamwork are essential.

Your duties will include:

* Packing finished food products ready for distribution

* Checking products meet the required quality standards

* Labelling, sealing and preparing products for dispatch

* Ensuring the correct products and quantities are packed

* Working efficiently as part of a fast-paced packing line

* Completing relevant production and packing paperwork accurately

* Keeping your work area clean, safe and organised

* Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures

* Reporting any product, packaging or quality issues to the relevant team leader

* Maintaining high standards of quality throughout your shift

About You

Previous experience in packing, production, manufacturing, warehouse or food production is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Own transport is desirable due to the location and shift times. Candidates must be able to reliably travel to the Willand site for a 01.30am start.
