Night Shift Registered Nurse

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our client’s care team on night shifts in the SO31 area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a real difference to residents’ lives. You will play a key role in supporting residents overnight, ensuring their clinical, emotional, and personal care needs are met with dignity, respect, and professionalism.

Key requirements

The successful candidate must have:

* Active NMC registration

* Awareness of CQC regulations

* Care Certificate

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one before starting employment due to working around vulnerable people

* A caring, professional, and person-centred approach

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* Confidence working independently during night shifts

Role responsibilities

As a Night Shift Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:

* Delivering safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care

* Administering medication and maintaining accurate records

* Monitoring residents’ health and wellbeing throughout the night

* Supporting care staff and promoting best practice

* Ensuring care plans are followed and updated where required

* Maintaining compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements

* Responding calmly and professionally to any changes in residents’ needs

You will be a reliable and compassionate nurse who takes pride in providing excellent care. You will be able to work confidently as part of a team and be comfortable making decisions during night shifts.

Hours of work: 20h00 -08:00

Pay Rates:

* Weekdays: £22.39 per hour

* Saturday: £23.45 per hour

* Sunday: £25.58 per hour
