Night Shift Senior

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Night Shift Senior to take responsibility for the effective running of our night-shift manufacturing operation, providing strong leadership, direction and accountability to ensure production targets and business requirements are consistently achieved.

As the Night Shift Senior, you will be:

* Responsible for leading, managing and coordinating the night-shift workforce.

* Providing clear direction, motivation and support to Team Leaders and Factory Operatives.

* Taking ownership of the overall night-shift operation and making effective operational decisions.

* Driving production performance, efficiency, yield and waste reduction.

* Ensuring production plans and customer requirements are achieved.

* Promoting a positive culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.

* Deputising for senior management when required.

As the Night Shift Senior, you will have:

* Accountability for Health & Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Hygiene standards.

* Responsibility for labour planning, resource allocation and workforce performance.

* Ownership of production issues, downtime, operational challenges and corrective actions.

* Responsibility for ensuring all checks, audits, paperwork, SAP and Redzone requirements are completed.

* The authority to challenge poor performance and drive improvements across the operation.

* Responsibility for effective communication and handovers between shifts.

* Regular engagement with Engineering, Quality, Planning and senior management to ensure operational continuity.

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment, strong communication skills and the confidence to manage people, make decisions and work independently. A proactive, hands-on approach, good understanding of manufacturing processes and a commitment to achieving high standards are essential. Level 2 Food Safety, HACCP knowledge and production management system experience would be advantageous.
