Night Van driver

We are looking for reliable and experienced Night Van Drivers to join a busy delivery operation on a permanent basis. This role involves completing scheduled deliveries safely, accurately and on time while providing a professional service to customers.

This position is suited to someone who is dependable, comfortable working during the night and looking for a long-term opportunity.

Working Hours

Tuesday to Friday - start time: 1:00 AM in the morning

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Completing scheduled customer deliveries safely and efficiently

* Loading and checking goods before departure where required

* Following planned delivery routes and schedules

* Using the Fresho delivery system to manage deliveries and customer information

* Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and recorded correctly

* Checking delivery documentation and reporting any discrepancies

* Handling products carefully to avoid damage

* Carrying out basic vehicle checks before starting each shift

* Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance concerns promptly

* Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy and presentable

* Following road traffic laws and company driving procedures at all times

* Communicating professionally with customers and the transport or operations team

* Reporting delivery delays, access problems or other issues immediately

* Maintaining high standards of reliability, punctuality and attendance

Training

Full training will be provided on the company’s delivery procedures and the Fresho system.

The full training process may take up to 4 weeks, depending on the individual’s experience and progress. Candidates must therefore be willing to learn the delivery process properly and commit to the role on a long-term basis.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

* Hold a valid UK driving licence with no more than 3 points on their driving licence

* Have at least 1 year of previous van driving experience

* Be confident driving during night-time and early-morning hours

* Be reliable, punctual, responsible and able to work independently

* Be physically capable of completing delivery duties

* Have good communication and organisational skills

* Be comfortable using mobile devices or digital delivery systems

There is no specific age restriction, as drivers of all ages can be insured provided they meet the required driving and experience criteria.
