Night Warehouse Manager

Right Now Group are recruiting for a Night Warehouse Manager to join a growing freight business based near Heathrow Airport.
This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced warehouse leader or someone ready to step up into a management role. You'll be responsible for overseeing a small night shift team in a regulated air freight environment, ensuring smooth, compliant, and secure cargo handling operations.

• Lead nightly warehouse operations including goods-in, break bulk, build-up, and exports

• Manage, motivate, and support a small night shift team

• Ensure full compliance with aviation security protocols, including use of x-ray screening, FREDDs, ETD, and handsearch techniques

• Conduct shift reports, handovers, and communicate with the day team

• Liaise with drivers, ground handling agents, and internal departments to coordinate efficient freight movement

• Maintain accurate documentation and update systems for all cargo movements

• Ensure warehouse health & safety, cleanliness, and compliance are maintained at all times

• Operate a Counterbalance forklift as required during the shift

• Experience in a freight or logistics warehouse environment, preferably air freight

• Supervisory or management experience preferred - strong senior operatives looking to step up will also be considered

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential

• Experience working in a regulated aviation security environment is highly beneficial (x-ray, ETD, FREDDs, handsearch)

• Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills

• Confident working independently and making decisions under pressure

• Must be comfortable working night shifts

• Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

• Shift: Monday to Friday

• Hours: 50 hours per week - shifts between 18:00-04:00 and 20:00-06:00
