Nights Supervisor

Staff365 are recruiting for a Shift Leader/ Supervisor for our manufacturing client located in Doncaster DN1 with immediate starts for suitable candidates.

This is a 12 week temp - perm vacancy.

Hours of work: Night shift - Monday to Thursday 19:00-07:00 (7pm-7am)

Pay: £18.00 phr (weekly pay)

Lead and supervise day-to-day shop floor production in an engineering/fabrication environment.
Allocate work and manage production priorities to meet customer deadlines and OTIF targets.
Monitor quality, output, materials, waste and workflow, resolving issues early.
Ensure work is completed safely, accurately and to drawings, specifications and quality standards.
Maintain production schedules, SOPs, work instructions and safe working practices.
Manage shop floor standards, attendance and performance, escalating issues where required.
Communicate production priorities, risks and progress to the Head of Operations and wider team.

Key Requirements:

Experience supervising production within an engineering, fabrication or workshop environment.
Strong practical, hands-on approach with a genuine shop floor presence.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications and BOMs.
Good understanding of production planning, workflow and quality control.
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
Good knowledge of health & safety and safe working practices.
Confident communicator with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Able to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to production issues.
Experience working with bespoke and repeat manufacturing would be advantageous.
