Nightshift Warehouse Operative

Hours:

• Night Shift
• 8 hours per day
• 8pm to 4am

Pay:

• £12.68 standard hourly rate
• £13.78 if candidate has a counterbalance FLT Licence
• Please note: a FLT licence is not required for this position

Duties:

• Ensure stock is managed in a safe, tidy, and efficient manner
• Accurate receipting of goods-in from Leighton Buzzard, with timely acknowledgement, reporting of any damages, shorts, or additions to the Team Lead.
• Ensure timely and accurate picking of stock
• Maintaining first in first out routines, to ensure stock is rotated and wastage minimised
• Support the Lead in the management of stock performance, investigating and resolving all discrepancies and escalation of any potential issues
• Develop and maintain effective relationships within pharmacy and other company departments
• Process expired and quarantined stock to maintain consistently low levels

Requirements:

• Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment
• Good reading skills and numerate
• Computer literate - Excel, Word, Sage 200C ideal
• Good team player, but also with the ability to work on own initiative when required
• Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise work load and work to targets
• An eye for detail
