We're looking for an experienced NLP Tech Lead to join a pioneering team pushing the boundaries of language technologies. This hybrid role, based in Bristol, offers the opportunity to lead innovative AI projects from concept through to implementation.

What You'll Bring:

• Advanced academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or PhD

• 7+ years working with machine learning, with deep hands-on experience in natural language processing and generative AI.

• Strong track record of delivering NLP solutions that drive real-world business value.

• In-depth understanding of LLMs - both their strengths and limitations.

• Solid grasp of key ML techniques, backed by experience using libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face.

• Skilled in Python, large-scale data handling, and tools such as Spark and Databricks.

• Confident team leader with proven project management experience.

• Clear communicator who can translate technical ideas for a variety of audiences.

• Staying ahead of the game with all the latest advancements in LLMs

• Strong skills in evaluation planning and dataset preparation
