Job Opportunity: Senior Associate/Legal Director – Construction (Non-Contentious)

Location: Glasgow (with flexible and remote working options available)

Overview:

A highly regarded legal team is looking to appoint a Senior Associate or Legal Director to join its transactional construction practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lawyer to work on a wide range of construction and infrastructure projects across the UK, advising clients in both the public and private sectors and playing a key role in a busy, growing team.

Role Requirements:

Experience:

• At least 7–8 years' PQE in transactional construction law

• Advising on development, infrastructure and engineering projects, acting for a mix of developers, contractors, funders and consultants

• Familiarity with JCT, NEC, FIDIC and bespoke contracts, as well as a broad understanding of project structures and risk management

• Ability to collaborate with real estate, energy and commercial teams to deliver integrated advice

Skills:

• Confident in managing client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice

• Comfortable mentoring junior colleagues and supporting team growth

• Able to contribute to business development activity and represent the firm externally
