Job Description - NPI Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, a leading specialist in advanced surface engineering, delivering high-performance coating solutions for turbine components, is recruiting for an NPI Engineer for their site in Nottingham.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on NPI and PI product introductions, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are met through APQP and PPAP processes. If you have a strong background in manufacturing engineering and product introduction, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

NPI Engineer
Job Description

Leading NPI and PI product using APQP and PPAP tools to ensure quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met.
Maintaining and analysing Yield/RFT charts to drive product delivery improvements and enhance overall quality performance.
Disposition non-conformances in line with delivery, cost, and lead time requirements, ensuring corrective actions are effective.
Liaising with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met and managing customer expectations through yield reviews, RFT analysis, IPT meetings, and DFM sessions to align on product performance.
Preparing clear technical reports, documentation, and presentations, and ensuring compliance with all HS&E policies and assigned safety actions.

NPI Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Strong knowledge of NPI gained through experience working in a similar role
Experience using engineering software/ERP
Confident dealing with both internal stakeholders and external customers
Accomplished working within a highly regulated industry/environment (aerospace, automotive etc)
