NQ Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor

A leading Scottish firm is seeking an NQ Solicitor to join its highly regarded Non-Contentious Construction team, based in Edinburgh. This is a permanent, full-time role offering the chance to work on a variety of high-profile projects across the UK.

The Role
You will support clients on the construction aspects of major property developments & regeneration projects, including development agreements, building contracts, bonds & guarantees and professional appointments.

The team also advises on significant engineering and infrastructure projects, particularly in the energy sector, such as onshore wind, hydro, battery storage, solar and tidal/wave projects. Clients include developers, contractors, public sector bodies, funders and consultants.

About You

• Newly qualified solicitor/trainee solicitor qualifying in 2025 with some experience in non-contentious construction
• Strong drafting, problem-solving and communication skills
• Well-organised, with the ability to manage deadlines and work effectively as part of a team
• Commercially aware, with an interest in property development and energy sector projects
• Motivated to continue learning and developing expertise in construction law
