Location: Lyminge, near Folkestone

Pay Rate: £37 per hour - Weekdays

                 £38 per hour - Weeknights & Weekends

Shifts Available: 8 am - 8 pm (Days) | 8 pm - 8 am (Nights)

Access to a vehicle required, due to the geographical location of the role.

What you’ll do

As a Registered Nurse working within our packages of care, you will provide a high standard of nursing care to our clients with complex needs. You will be expected to work closely with the family and MDT, with oversight from the company’s complex community nurse. There will be an up-to-date care plan, for you to follow to ensure that you are aware of the client’s needs and wishes. You will be expected to provide holistic person-centred care, helping the client to meet their full potential. The role of the package nurse can be extremely rewarding, it also offers flexible working if required.

You will deliver care in line with the care plan which includes the following:

• Tracheostomy care 
• The usage of invasive ventilators during the night. 
• Deep suctioning.
• Cough Assist
• Catheter Care
• Bowel Management.
• Medication Administration.

What you’ll need

• Registered Nurse Diploma/ Degree with an active NMC Pin with at least 3 years of experience
• To be self-motivated, enthusiastic, caring, and compassionate
• Experience in moving and handling
• Experience with tracheostomies
• Experience with ventilators
• Experience with cough assist and deep suctioning
• Experience with supra pubic catheters
• Experience with bowel management
• Experience of administering medication
• Experience with spinal cord injuries
