TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a lovely private day nursery based in Leeds (LS6). The nursery provide a warm, caring and stimulating environment for the children to learn through play, where they can enjoy exciting and challenging activities based around their current interests and developmental needs. The staff form strong bonds with the children within the setting, ensuring they are attentive to any needs they may have and are able to help the children settle into the nursery routine.

The nursery are currently looking for a full-time Nursery Assistant to join their team. The successful applicant must be able to work 5 days a week, and happy to do alternating early/late shifts. The ideal Nursery Assistant will have previous experience working with young children, ideally within an Early Years Setting. They will also able to provide 2 professional references, and will be happy to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.

The successful Nursery Assistant will:

Have previous experience working with young children under the age of 5
Be able to provide 2 professional references
Be eager to join a welcoming team and help them provide an outstanding level of care and support for the children within the nursery.
