Nursery Assistant

TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a private day nursery based in the Wigan area. They ensure all staff highly trained in the EYFS curriculum and Safeguarding, to ensure the highest quality of care to the 50+ children who attend the site daily. The site provides many learning opportunities to stimulate development through interest led activities.

The nursery is looking for a Nursery Assistant. Level 2 or 3 qualified is preferred, however, unqualified or qualifications that are equivalent with experience will be considered. The right person will be supported across all rooms, from the baby room, to toddlers, to preschool room. You will report to the management team and in room leaders, and be enthusiastic in helping young children learn.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or higher childcare qualification
• Knowledge of the EYFS
• Can do approach with adaptability skills
