Nursery Deputy Manager

Our Clients are looking for an experienced senior practitioner for a room based Deputy Manager role at their small but busy setting in Fleet.  This is a maternity cover role at present, although they may be opportunities within the company once the maternity cover ends.  The role is supporting the Toddler Room, and working alongside the manager in the day to day running of the setting.  Would consider a very experienced Room Leader or Third in Charge for this role. Working Monday to Friday salary is c£30k depending on experience, with fantastic benefits too.

Requirements

What are Clients are looking for

Have a minimum Level 3 Qualification or equivalent in Early Years / Childcare.
At least 3 years experience of working within a day nursery

Experience of a management role, in leading and supporting a teams.

Understanding of the Ofsted Requirements and up to date knowledge of all changes in Ofsted or the Curriculum

A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing the best start in life.

A solid understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.

Form bonds with children and their families, ensuring each child feels secure and supported.

Team Player with excellent communication skills, the ability to give and receive feedback, and a positive, proactive approach.

Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
