Nursery Deputy Manager

Instant Resourcing Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Nursery Manager to ensure the delivery of outstanding childcare and early years education. This position requires a passionate individual who is committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive and develop. As Nursery Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of the nursery, fostering strong relationships with children, parents, and staff, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. Responsibilities

• Assist the Nursery Manager in the overall management and coordination of nursery operations.
• Support and lead a team of nursery practitioners to deliver high-quality childcare and education.
• Ensure all activities comply with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and other regulatory standards.
• Promote a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop.
• Engage with parents and carers to provide regular updates and foster positive relationships.
• Contribute to staff training, development, and performance appraisals.
• Manage day-to-day administrative tasks such as record keeping, staffing rotas, and resource management.
• Handle any issues or concerns promptly and professionally to maintain a positive nursery atmosphere.

• Level 3 Diploma in Childcare or equivalent qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or deputy management role within a nursery setting.
• Thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and Ofsted requirements.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to plan and organize daily nursery operations efficiently.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and promoting their development and wellbeing.
• Up to date safeguarding knowledge and willingness to undertake relevant training.
