Full-time · 40 hours per week · Up to £35,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)

Our client is excited to be opening a brand-new nursery setting – a purpose-built space designed to inspire, engage, and nurture young minds. With beautifully appointed rooms, vibrant play areas, and a large outdoor garden, the service offers the perfect environment for children to thrive – and for an experienced Nursery Manager to make their mark.

The service is seeking a warm, committed, and knowledgeable leader to guide the team, champion quality practice, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and joyful experience for children, families, and staff alike.

The Nursery Manager will oversee all aspects of the nursery’s daily operations, leading with integrity, care, and vision. From setting high standards in safeguarding to supporting staff development and fostering positive relationships with families, the Manager will be instrumental in building a truly exceptional early years service.

What You’ll Need

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)

  • Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or a highly experienced Deputy Manager ready to take the next step

  • Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures

  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

  • A passion for creating a warm, inclusive environment where children feel valued and inspired

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the nursery team to deliver outstanding care and education in line with the EYFS framework

  • Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are consistently upheld

  • Oversee daily operations, compliance, staffing, and curriculum planning

  • Build strong, trust-based partnerships with parents, carers, and the wider community

  • Support, coach, and inspire team members to reach their full potential

  • Monitor quality and implement continuous improvements across the setting
