Nursery Manager

Banana Moon Day Nursery is excited to announce an opening for a Nursery Manager at one of our vibrant nurseries. As the Nursery Manager, you will be at the heart of our mission to nurture and inspire young minds in a safe and engaging environment. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and care in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a dedicated team of early years practitioners, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, nursery policies and procedures, and high standards of care and education.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and the local community, promoting a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
• Monitor and evaluate educational programs to ensure best practices are implemented in the nursery.
• Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Manage the nursery budget and resources effectively, ensuring financial sustainability.

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education.
• Experience in a managerial role within a nursery or early years setting.
• In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and relevant legislation.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and support staff development and progression.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Enhanced DBS clearance and Paediatric First Aid certification.
• Passion for early years education and a commitment to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
