Nursery Manager – Early Years Setting

Salary: £32,(Apply online only)–£36,(Apply online only) per year
Hours: 40 hours per week over 4–5 days
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Peterborough

We are currently recruiting for a caring, passionate, and experienced Nursery Manager to lead a welcoming and well established early years setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for children, families, and staff alike.

The successful candidate will be a strong leader with a genuine passion for early years education, child development, and team wellbeing.

Requirements:

Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
Minimum Level 2 Maths qualification or willingness to work towards
Previous management experience within a good or outstanding setting
Strong safeguarding knowledge and leadership skills
Experience working within early years education and childcare
Good IT skills and confidence using nursery software and online systems
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support a positive, caring, and motivated staff team
Ensure high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are maintained
Support the implementation of the EYFS framework
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers
Monitor practice and support continuous improvement across the setting
Promote a warm, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children
