Nursery Manager - Newham

Are you an experienced Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse or EYFS professional looking for a new opportunity in a welcoming Primary School in Newham?

A friendly and well-established Primary School in Newham is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Nursery Manager to join their Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong Nursery experience who enjoys supporting young children during the crucial early stages of their development.

Pay: £120-£130 per day
Location: Newham, East London
Hours: 8:00am-3:30pm
Start: ASAP
Qualification: QTS is not required

This role would suit an experienced Nursery Nurse, EYFS Practitioner or Nursery professional who is confident supporting the day-to-day running of a Nursery setting. You will be passionate about Early Years education, able to build positive relationships with children and families, and confident supporting learning through engaging, play-based activities.

Supporting the day-to-day running of the Nursery provision
Working closely with the EYFS teaching team and support staff
Creating a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment
Supporting children's learning and development through play
Helping children develop their communication, social and independence skills
Observing and monitoring children's progress
Supporting routines, transitions and personal care where required
Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
Helping maintain high standards of safeguarding and welfare throughout the NurseryThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Nursery Nurse or EYFS Practitioner who is looking to take on additional responsibility within a supportive Primary School environment.

Who should apply:

An experienced Nursery Nurse, EYFS Practitioner or Early Years professional
Previous experience working within a Nursery or EYFS setting
A relevant Early Years / Childcare qualification is highly desirable
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
Someone who is nurturing, organised and confident supporting young children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
A CV covering your employment and education history since completing formal education, with any employment gaps explained
