Nursery Manager required in Coventry

We are working with a beautiful setting based in Coventry who are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager Monday to Friday 8.30-4.30pm or 8am-4pm.

They cater for children from 6 weeks to 4 years across four separate rooms.

The setting is a community nursery and use this to their advantage; they use the community where they can and work alongside local schools, charities and churches to provide a variety of experiences for the children.

The Role

To manage and develop the efficient and effective running of our nursery, leading a team of staff, students and volunteers providing high quality childcare which meets the needs of individual children and their families. To develop a flexible approach to service provision in conjunction with the management committee, General Manager, parents/ carers and other users.

About you:

• Experience of managing busy nursery settings
• Experience working with children in a childcare setting
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents
• Ability to lead and manage a team of childcare providers
• Nursery experience: 2 years (preferred)
• Childcare: 2 years (preferred)
• Management: 2 years (preferred)
• Education: Level 3 or above
