Job Description:

Qualified Nursery Nurse

* Hours: 40 hours per week over 4 longer days

* Location: A nursery in Andover

* Salary: 13.13 per hour

* Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a well‑established Forest School nursery in Andover on a permanent, long‑term basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives outdoors, enjoys child‑led learning, and wants to be part of a nurturing, nature‑focused early years environment.

The Role

* Create a safe, stimulating outdoor environment rooted in Forest School principles

* Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures

* Lead and support outdoor activities, nature exploration, and child‑initiated play

* Provide warm, positive interactions and greet every child with a welcoming approach

* Deliver high standards of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a consistent, supportive team culture

* Follow and implement the daily Forest School routine

* Assist with snack/meal times, tidying, and light domestic tasks

Requirements

* Punctual, reliable, and professional

* Relevant Level 3 childcare qualification

* Strong communication skills with children, families, and colleagues

* Ability to provide two proofs of address and references for last 2 years

* Willingness to follow safeguarding and EYFS guidelines
