Job Description - Nursery Practitioner

Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

£29,000 | 40 Hours Per Week

Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a thriving, welcoming nursery that’s as beautiful as it is enriching. With light-filled, spacious rooms and a stunning garden (complete with a vegetable patch!), this setting provides the perfect backdrop for imaginative play, outdoor learning, and holistic development.

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play a key part in supporting children’s learning and development during their most formative years. You’ll help create a safe, stimulating, and fun environment that nurtures every child’s potential while working as part of a friendly and collaborative team.

  • Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent) – essential

  • A genuine passion for working with young children

  • Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset

  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures and commitment to inclusive practice

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework

  • Build warm and trusting relationships with children and their families

  • Plan, observe, and assess learning activities that support each child’s individual development

  • Work closely with colleagues to maintain a nurturing and inclusive environment

  • Ensure children’s safety and wellbeing is prioritised at all times

  • Reflect on practice and contribute to ongoing improvements across the setting
