Job Description - Nursery Practitioner

Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)


Full-time · All year round · Up to £28,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)

Our client is looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) to join their nurturing and professional team. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a setting where children are at the heart of everything and where your passion for early years education will be genuinely valued.

Set in a beautiful building with light and airy rooms, the nursery offers a truly home-from-home environment for both children and staff. With a spacious garden and playground for all ages, the setting encourages outdoor play, exploration, and joyful learning every day.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll help to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences that support each child’s development. You’ll work closely with your team to provide high-quality care in a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, confident, and inspired to learn through play.

What You’ll Need

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)

  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting

  • Good knowledge of the EYFS and child development principles

  • A warm, caring approach and a genuine passion for working with young children

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, child-centred care and learning in line with the EYFS

  • Plan and carry out fun, age-appropriate activities based on children’s interests

  • Build strong and trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues

  • Support children’s development through observation, assessment, and meaningful interactions

  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with your team to meet the individual needs of every child
