Full-time · All year round · Up to £27,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)

Our client, a welcoming and thoughtfully designed early years setting, is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a service that places children’s wellbeing and learning at the heart of everything they do.

With beautiful age-specific rooms, a spacious outdoor garden and play area, and a warm, home-like atmosphere, the nursery offers a space where children feel safe, confident, and eager to explore. The team is passionate about learning through play and is committed to providing a nurturing, inclusive environment for every child and team member.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll support children’s learning and development through engaging play-based experiences. Working closely with your room team, you’ll contribute to a high-quality, child-centred approach, helping each child thrive emotionally, socially, and educationally.

  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting

  • Sound knowledge of child development and the EYFS

  • A positive, flexible, and team-oriented approach

Perks & Benefits

This setting values and supports its team with a range of benefits, including:

  • Annual leave that increases with length of service

  • Regular team events that foster connection and appreciation

  • Access to a wellness support programme and mental health resources

  • Ongoing training and career progression opportunities

  • Company pension scheme

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care and early education in line with the EYFS framework

  • Plan and facilitate fun, age-appropriate activities that support all areas of development

  • Build warm, responsive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

  • Observe and track children’s progress, supporting individual learning journeys

  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment both indoors and outdoors

  • Contribute positively to the team and support a culture of reflection and improvement
