Job Description - Nursery Practitioner

Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

£29,000 | 45 Hours Per Week

Our client, a welcoming and well-established nursery, is looking for a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their team. This homely and nurturing setting provides a warm and supportive environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and learn.

The Nursery Practitioner will play a key role in creating a caring and stimulating space where children can develop their confidence and curiosity. Working as part of a close-knit team, they will support children's learning through play, build strong relationships with families, and ensure that every child receives the highest standard of care.

What You’ll Need

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)

  • Experience working with children in an early years setting

  • A warm, patient, and nurturing approach to childcare

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

  • Passion for creating a fun and enriching learning environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality care and education to children in line with EYFS guidelines

  • Planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to different age groups

  • Supporting children’s emotional and social development through positive interactions

  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all children

  • Building strong relationships with families to support each child’s progress

  • Observing and assessing children’s development, ensuring their needs are met

  • Working collaboratively with a friendly and professional team
