Job Description - Nursery Practitioner

Nursery Practitioner – Level 2 or 3


Salary: £29,000


Hours: 45 hours per week

We are looking for a nurturing and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting the development and well-being of young children and will have a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years.

The nursery is known for its strong team culture and child-centred approach. It features spacious rooms and a beautiful outdoor area designed to encourage learning through play, exploration, and creativity.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)

  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting

  • Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS framework

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A genuine passion for nurturing young children and supporting their learning

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that meet the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs of children

  • Provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment where children can thrive

  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

  • Observe, assess, and document each child’s learning and development

  • Collaborate with parents to support their child’s progress and well-being
