Hours: Shift patterns between 7:00am and 7:00pm
Hours per day: Option to work 7.5 or 8 hours per day

Our private nursery in Gants Hill, Ilford is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join our team. We are happy to consider job share arrangements and are keen to find the right person to join our supportive team.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with babies and toddlers and is committed to providing high-quality care, learning and development.

The Role

You will work as part of a supportive nursery team, primarily within our Baby Room and Toddler Room, helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn, develop and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education for babies and toddlers.

*

Work in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the nursery's policies and procedures.

*

Support children's learning, development and individual needs through play and planned activities.

*

Build positive and caring relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

*

Ensure children's health, safety and wellbeing are always prioritised.

*

Support children's personal care routines, including feeding, changing, toileting and sleep routines where appropriate.

*

Observe, assess and record children's development and contribute to their individual learning journeys.

*

Create engaging and stimulating activities appropriate to the children's age and stage of development.

*

Work effectively as part of a team and communicate positively with colleagues and families.

*

Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain a safe environment for all children.

*

Contribute to maintaining a clean, welcoming and well-organised nursery environment.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualified in Early Years / Childcare or holds an appropriate recognised qualification.

*

Passionate about working with babies and young children.

*

Warm, caring, patient and enthusiastic.

*

Reliable, responsible and able to work effectively as part of a team.

*

Committed to providing high-quality childcare and early education.

*

Knowledgeable about the EYFS and safeguarding.

*

Able to communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues.

*

Keen to develop professionally and contribute positively to the nursery.
