Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday, 40 per week

We are a privately run day nursery, in the heart of Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. We are looking for passionate, full-time Level 3 Qualified Early Years Educators to support with the increase in children at our home-from-home nursery.
The role is for up to 40 hours per week, all year round, and you will be responsible for a group of Key Children.
You will receive exceptional support and encouragement from the team around you and have opportunities to develop your own practice and skills.

Roles & Responsibilities of a Nursery Practitioner:
To be a Key Person for a group of children, observing and assessing their learning and development
Contribute to the planning and organisation of the classroom
To participate in providing a caring, safe, learning environment for children by following policies and procedures
Engage in safeguarding training and be aware of the signs and symptoms of possible abuse and to report all concerns without delay.
To promote the child's physical, emotional and social development.
To assist in the provision of child care activities including play, messy
play, singing, reading, painting, dressing, outdoor play, P.E,meal times,
toilet training and nappy changing.
Maintain good standards of hygiene for all children/babies.
Work as a team, building good relationships with children,
parents
and staff.
To have a good working knowledge of the Nursery and its policies.
Work within the guidelines and have a good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Attend regular staff meetings, training programme and out of hours
fund-raising events.
Promote the good name and reputation of the Nursery both externally and
through good relationships with parents and prospective parents.
To be flexible in shifts, covering for other staff, perhaps within a different age group.
To carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required.
Desirable Criteria of
a Nursery Practitioner:
Full and relevant Level 3 in Early Years Education is essential.
Experience of working in an Early Years Setting.
The ability to support children in their development, using Development Matters, ensuring progress is made within all 7 areas of the curriculum.
The ability to provide fun and educational learning experiences.
Enthusiasm to build strong relationships with children, families, and other staff members.
