Salary: Up to £28,500

40 hours per week

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our client’s diverse and inclusive nursery team for a 40-hour workweek over 4 days. As the Nursery Room Leader you will be responsible for overseeing and creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children in your care, as well as leading a team of educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 in Early Years (Or above)

• Experience working within a Nursery setting

• Strong understanding of child development and early years curriculum

• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues

• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a room within the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are met

• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children to learn and develop

• Plan and implement a varied and stimulating range of activities that meet the individual needs and interests of the children

• Build and maintain positive relationships with children and their families

• Support and lead a team of educators, providing guidance and mentoring as required

• Contribute to and implement policies and procedures in line with relevant regulations and the nursery's ethos

• Work collaboratively with other Room Leaders and the management team to ensure a cohesive approach to care and education
