Nursery Room Leader – Level 3 Qualified

Salary: Up to £29,000

Hours: Full-time, all year round

Are you an experienced early years professional ready to take the next step in your career? Our client is looking for a confident and committed Nursery Room Leader to lead a room of enthusiastic staff and support children’s development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent) is essential.

• Proven experience in a nursery setting, ideally with some leadership or supervisory responsibilities.

• Strong knowledge of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• Confident communication and leadership skills.

• Organised, proactive, and capable of managing a busy early years environment.

• Passionate about delivering high-quality early education and supporting team development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the daily operations of your designated room, ensuring a high standard of care and education in line with the EYFS framework.

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support children’s development across all areas of learning.

• Supervise and mentor a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.

• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers, acting as a key point of contact.

• Monitor children’s progress, complete observations, and maintain accurate records and developmental reports.

• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times.

• Promote a positive and inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and supported.
