At our Wendover Nursery we are now seeking an experienced Room leader with Toddler experience to come and join our team. Working a 38 hr week, salary is up to £33,572 depending on experience and qualifications, with great benefits. We have onsite parking together with a local "bookable" bus service which stops outside the nursery.
Wendover Nursery is part of the CC Nurseries Group, and is based in Wendover within walking distance of mainline train station at Stoke Mandeville and an easy commute from Aylesbury. Requirements
As Head of Room you will:
Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor always
Work within a team to support all children and team members within your room
Lead and support your team together with supporting their training needs to ensure best practice always.
Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met
Qualified level 3 or above, with at least 3 years experience of working in a day nursery and at least 1 year of leading a team
