Nursery Room Leader

At Banana Moon Day Nurseries, we are seeking a dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our team and lead a nurturing environment for our children. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities in your designated room, ensuring that children receive high-quality care and educational experiences that support their individual development.

Your role will involve planning engaging activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, supporting and mentoring your room's staff, and building strong relationships with families to create a collaborative community. You will also ensure that all interactions with children promote their welfare, safety, and enjoyment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Proven experience working within a childcare setting, with experience in a leadership role being highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development theories.
• Excellent communication skills for establishing effective relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and support team members to achieve high standards of practice.
• Commitment to safeguarding children's welfare and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.
• Passion for promoting children's learning through play and inquiry.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
