Nursery Room Leader

We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join a welcoming nursery setting in Battersea, SW8 London.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Nursery Room Leader
• Location: Battersea, SW8 London
• Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
• Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the daily running of the nursery room, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Support, mentor, and supervise room staff, ensuring high-quality practice and professional development
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and team members
• Monitor and record children’s progress, ensuring individual learning needs are met
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times

What We’re Looking For:

• Level 3 or above in Childcare/Early Years qualification
• Previous experience as a Room Leader or in a senior nursery role
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• A caring, proactive, and professional attitude
