Nursery Room Leader – Level 3 Qualified

Salary: Up to £27,400


Hours: 40 hours per week

Our client, a warm and welcoming nursery set in a beautifully renovated Victorian building, is looking for a passionate Nursery Room Leader to join their dedicated team.

This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of caregivers in providing high-quality early years education to children aged 3 months to 5 years. The nursery is committed to offering a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive, learn, and explore.

What We’re Looking For

  • Childcare Qualification:Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent (essential).

  • Experience: Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role.

  • Knowledge of EYFS: Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and how to implement it effectively.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.

  • Proactive Approach: A proactive and enthusiastic approach to providing high-quality care and education.

  • Commitment to Development: A commitment to supporting children’s development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Room Leadership: Lead a room within the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education are maintained.

  • Team Support: Support and guide a team of early years practitioners, encouraging professional development and teamwork.

  • Activity Planning: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that enhance children’s learning and development.

  • Creating a Safe Environment: Provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment that promotes children’s emotional and social growth.

  • Building Relationships: Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community.

  • Progress Tracking:

    Keep accurate records of children’s progress, ensuring regular updates are communicated with parents
