Job Description - Nursery Room Leader / Third in Charge

About our Clientsâ

In Burgess Hill this lovely nursery are looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader to be Third in Charge in their Nursery, and part of the management team.. Working a 40 hr week, salary is up to Â£36,330 depending on experience. With great benefits, future career progression, great transport links, and working with a lovely team.

Essential for the Nursery Room Leader Role / Third in Charge

Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)

Minimum 1 yearâs experience leading a room in a nursery or early years setting

Knowledge of child development, EYFS, and safeguarding

Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences within your room and the wider nursery setting

Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements

Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues in the nursery setting

Ideal Nursery Room Leader / Third in Charge Candidate

Passionate about early years and childrenâs development within a nursery setting

Strong team leader, able to motivate and support staff in your room

Proactive, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards

Promotes best practice and ensures a safe, nurturing environment across the nursery setting
