The Role

The successful Nursery Teacher will take full responsibility for a Nursery class, delivering a rich and engaging EYFS curriculum that supports all areas of early development.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering high-quality, play-based learning experiences
Supporting early communication, language and social development
Creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
Observing, assessing and tracking pupil progress
Building strong relationships with parents and carers
Working closely with Early Years support staff and the EYFS lead

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a Nursery Teacher who:

Holds QTS and has recent EYFS teaching experience
Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
Is confident delivering a play-based, child-centred curriculum
Demonstrates excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management
Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and familiesExperience in a Nursery setting is highly desirable.
